Why do older women discard

the obvious thing that would enhance

their usually unattractive appearance ?

Perhaps it's just to save some bother

or else to cut back on expenses

in trying to keep up appearances.

Most likely it's feminine peer pressure

when getting old to share the despair

by finally cutting short their hair.
